Follow the RED LETTER teachings of Jesus today?

THEY tell you.
.....to follow the writings of the NT, particularly the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John which the Bible clearly tells you is Jesus EARTHLY ministry to the Nation ISRAEL, and not to you.
We want you to KNOW
.... that Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are still the OLD Testament. Even YOUR "last will and testament" wont go into effect until AFTER you are DEAD.
It is NOT in force while you are still ALIVE. Jesus was still ALIVE in these books. The NT could NOT have begun until AFTER Jesus died. And it was ONLY applicable to the same people that the OLD TESTAMENT was written ..the JEWS (See Jer. 31:31)
Heb. 9:15-18 "and for this cause (what cause? the blood of Christ, his death...from verse 14) he (Christ) is the mediator of the New Testament, that by means of DEATH, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal iheritance.
For where a testament IS, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is in force AFTER men are dead; otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
We want you to KNOW.
...that Jesus didnt live under the NEW Testament, so when you read about His earthly ministry in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, you should know that He lived and functioned under the OLD TESTAMENT, which is the Law of Moses.
Gal. 4:4 "But when the fullness of time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made UNDER THE LAW."

22
And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto Him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23
But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and besought Him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24
But He answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
(Matt:15:22-24)
The woman from Canaan was a Gentile. Jesus was a Jew, under the Law of Moses. Associating with Gentiles was forbidden by Jewish Law. Throughout Mark, Matthew, Luke, John and the beginning of Acts, the Law was fully in effect. Jesus taught strict Judaism, as did His 12 disciples.
The message of John the Baptist, Repent and be baptized, was to the Jew only (and to the Gentile proselytes that converted to Judaism) The Canaanite woman recognized this and acknowledged Jesus’ words, which is why Jesus responded to her at all.
Read the whole chapter of Matthew 15 and you will see that the apostles were trying to run her off because they knew they weren’t allowed to associate with her, being outside the Jewish covenant.
As a side note, the meeting in the upper room at Pentecost there were NO uncircumcised Gentiles present. It was a Jewish feast day and only the Jews and Jewish proselytes were welcome to be there.
The only religion in your bible, up until Saul (Paul) was stricken on the road to Damascus was strictly JUDAISM. The risen Jesus gave Paul (our disciple) the instructions for the new program of grace (Christianity). Both JUDAISM and CHRISTIANITY were in operation as recorded in the book of Acts. JUDAISM was completely replaced by CHRISTIANITY after the stoning of Stephen. Christianity will dissappear from earth at the rapture of the Church of the Body of Christ when the time of the fullness of the Gentiles is come in. At that time, God will resume the program with ISRAEL under JUDAISM and they will enter into the prophesied "Time of Jacob's Troubles."
Two churches (
The Heavenly Kingdom on Earth
) and (
The Church of the BODY of CHRIST
in Heaven) but together "
IN HIM
."

Aaaaamen.... I can tell ya I was shocked when I finally realized that much of what I considered to be "mainline christian thinking" was based NOT on the Bible rightly divided, but in "superstition", "ignorance" and "traditions of men".....no wonder Paul warns us about NOT knowing or acknowledging the MYSTERY TRUTHS with which we have been entrusted. Ya cant share em if ya dont even know what they ARE or where they are found?

I was raised thinking that MATTHEW--LUKE emphasized WORKS, while JOHN emphasized FAITH. That we were to follow what Christ SAID & DID. I was taught to apply the WHOLE Bible as written (interpreted) to me.... Well, I for one am so glad that I saw the TRUTH of right division!!

Well Gary, I am glad you saw the truth too! Many folks forget the second part of this verse:
"God desires that ALL men be saved .....AND ....AND >>>> AND......that they come to a full knowledge (epignosis/greek) of the truth."
Without Paul's epistles this is an impossibility, as the scriptures tell us that the information given to Paul completed Gods Word to us. We would still be under the Kingdom program and considered "dogs" were it not for the "gospel of the GRACE of God" given to Paul for we gentiles. Yeeeee haw....aint it good to KNOW that ya KNOW that ya know?

Such a simple concept...but one that most professing believers won't even entertain.
