Confess every time you sin to BE forgiven?

They tell you................................. you can only get forgiveness each time you CONFESS.

1 John 1:9 "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"


WE want you to KNOW...........................God has ALREADY FORGIVEN you of your sins. (Past tense!)


Eph 1:7 In whom WE HAVE redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Big distinction here....how many were "confessing" when He died two thousand years ago? NONE

Confession isn't what forgives anyone...Dying on a Cross and shedding ones blood is what forgives people.
