Why Persist in Sharing the Gospel today? By Johnny Angel

In a conversation with my brother and sister recently, I mentioned how most people are highly offended when I witness to them concerning the gospel message. They said that they didn’t believe the bible was the word of God and that they believe that God is a part of all things and all people.
My sister commented, “Why would you want to witness to people when you know it is only going to make them mad? Religious belief is a very personal thing and most people are naturally offended when you offer a viewpoint that conflicts with their personal beliefs. Our purpose in life is to be happy. What I have never been able to understand is why you feel that you need to talk about your beliefs anyway. Just keep your mouth shut and save yourself and others a lot of grief. If you would just stop talking about what you believe you could stop wasting your life and be happy.”
Actually, the gospel message is very offensive by its very nature. It would indeed be much easier to shut up and never discuss it but once you learn the seriousness of it (which is life & death), it is very difficult to stand by and watch others unwittingly go to their demise. To illustrate, I offered this metaphor:
Visualize the World Trade Tower # 1 on 9/11. The first plane has crashed into the upper floors of the building and people are in a chaotic scramble to get down the stairways. Then building security announces on the P.A. system, “Please return to your work positions. The situation is under control and the integrity of the building is not at risk. I repeat; all personnel please return to your work positions.”
You shout to the people as they turn to go back up the stairs, “This building will be reduced to powder in 26 minutes! Get out of here as quickly as you can!” The people ignore your warnings and become quite irritated that you would contradict the word of trained, authorized professionals. You scramble to locate the person of “authority” who is announcing the erroneous messages over the loud speakers and try to make him understand that he is sending himself and hundreds of others who are trusting him to their deaths. You show him the building blueprints and explain that the structure is doomed to failure in 18 minutes, but he has no respect for your pleas because he has many credentials that you lack and is therefore much more knowledgeable.
If you continue to shout warnings of doom and destruction, a lot of people are going to be offended at your persistence. It would be much easier to simple ignore them all and go on out of the building and down the street, mumbling about the “ignorant idiots” that didn’t want to consider or even to listen to your warnings of concern. Most of us, given this scenario, would continue to shout warnings in the hope that even one person might believe and be saved. Even if all the others became angry and the trained professionals threatened you, it would be difficult for us to “shut up” and go away quietly.
I used to read how the road is narrow and few are those who will find it, thinking to myself, “Well God, that isn’t really all that accurate because there are churches full of Christians on thousands of street corners in thousands of cities throughout the country.” Then when I learned the of the unique nature of Paul’s gospel and that if any man preach any other gospel, let him be accursed, it became quite clear. In this county of 131 churches, not one preacher is preaching Paul’s gospel!
Unfortunately, the people are relying upon these “trained, authorized professionals” to tell them the truth and they are going to ride the towers down with them. Some believe that only the modern prophet, Joseph Smith brought the power of salvation back to mankind. Others believe they need to practice the law of Moses, be circumcised, be water baptized, observe the holy days, confess their sins, ask for forgiveness, speak in unknown tongues, make atonement to Saint Mary, abstain from all pleasures, perform good deeds, receive the second work of grace, and a multitude of others. Very few of these have ever heard of the 14 doctrines of Paul’s gospel or even knew they existed because they were blended into a watered-down mixture of all sorts by the “trained, authorized professionals” and made to be totally unrecognizable.
I told Sis, “If you want to go back to your desk and wait for the end there, I have no problem with that as long as you have made an informed decision and understand the magnitude of your choice. If you were offended, I offer no apology because your personal welfare is always at my heart.”
She told me that she didn’t believe the things that I had told her but that she loved me anyway because I would always be her little brother. So she has made her decision, not to believe my warning but I will continue to hope. I also hope that others hearing the myriads of sermons on amplified speakers will take the time to “search the scriptures to see whether these things are so.”

Christine....are the 14 doctrines of Paul’s gospel laid out somewhere here?
Yes, but here they are:
Fourteen doctrines NOT FOUND anywhere in the OT...
The MYSTERY TRUTHS which WE, the body of Christ have been entrusted WITH have BEEN REVEALED!
Where? Thats the question. (The answer is found in "... the preaching of Jesus Christ ACCORDING TO THE REVELATION of the MYSTERY which was kept SECRET since the world began." Romans 16:25)
Then why dont "believers" see them? Because they have fallen prey to the plan of evil presented by satan as he and his "ministers of righteousness", and fallen angels "appearing as angels of LIGHT." RELIGION and churchianity has taken the place of STUDY.
Are the Mystery truths found in Peters epistles or Matthew, Mark , Luke and John?
NO
Are they found in the red letter words of Christ in His ministry on the earth TO THE NATION ISRAEL?
NO.
They are ONLY found in the epistles of Paul. HE is the ONE who was entrusted with the REVELATION OF THE MYSTERY which was kept secret since the world began. How do I know this? Scripture tells me, and I BELIEVE IT.
Do you even KNOW what the fourteen doctrines ARE that are found ONLY In Pauls epistles and NOWHERE ELSE? Do you care? (You better care. You will be judged and rewarded based on how you handled them. And saying that you just didnt even KNOW about em, isn't gonna cut it!)
1. The formation of the Body of Christ
2. This PRESENT dispensation of the GRACE of God.
3. The GOSPEL of the GRACE of God
4. The temporary setting ASIDE of Israel
5. The EQUALITY of Jew and Gentile
6. The ONE baptism of Eph 4:5
7. The NEW commission to preach the gospel
8. The HEAVENLY position of the believer
9. Christ as the HEAD of the Body
10. The Lords Supper
11. The Coming of Christ in the AIR for his Church
12.The JUDGEMENT seat of Christ
13. The MINISTRY of the Holy Spirit
14. The FULL and COMPLETE Revelation
I have scriptures to show the veracity of each of these statements as to be found ONLY IN PAULS EPISTLES.
I would say without a doubt that since NO ONE mentioned any of these things in the KINGDOM gospel, that Paul indeed had some NEW information.
When will people LOOK AT the FACTS before jumping to conclusions NOT found in the scriptures, merely to "protect their coveted RELIGIOUS beliefs" that are NOT founded in FACT?
You will be getting a pamphlet in your package that lists all these doctrines with the appropriate scriptures. It is called THE REVELATION OF THE MYSTERY by Robt Brock

It is a joy and privilege to "make all men (and women)
SEE the fellowship of the Mystery..." Romans 16:25

This article got kind of lost in the shuffle, and I thought it really was thought provoking. Many do NOT see the imminent danger they are facing, and choose to believe that everything will be "just fine", in spite of Gods pleading with them for a change of MIND. All around us are the spiritually dead and dying, and we are called to be FAITHFUL in telling them the good news....What an awesome privilege we have, folks.
