Where is the biggest BATTLEFIELD today for Believers?

Romans 12:2

"Don't be conformed to this world and its way of thinking, but be TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND."

Have you ever considered how critically important it might be for you to THINK correctly? What about patterns of behavior that have developed in our lives over the years; one's that lead us to repeating the same mistakes over and over? Are you like me, in that many of YOUR choices come from 'emotionally driven' ways of looking at things?

"As a man thinks, so is he" Proverbs 23:7

God has taken the time to reveal to us that the battle today is IN and FOR our MINDS! 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

Let's take a closer look at some common areas to all of us, where we might need to be 'TRANSFORMED by the renewing of our MIND."

2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

God does NOT want us to be IGNORANT of Satan's devices! We need to KNOW how Satan works in this age of Grace and just what the areas ARE that he will be targeting!

JUST HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO GOD THAT WE 'THINK' CORRECTLY

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Scripture tells us something very important here! We wrestle NOT against flesh and blood....UH OH...do you mean that PEOPLE aren't my real enemy? NO...Rule Nbr ONE. KNOW who your enemy IS! According to the above verse its NOT other people, but rulers of the darkness of THIS world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Interesting, isn't it?

Who do you think wants us to be ignorant of how God is presently working in this age of Grace? Where do you think His focus will be since God is presently working thru His Body? YOU got it...his focus will be to turn the members OF that body against one another, instead of fighting the REAL culprit...ie; the FATHER of LIES.

Let's take a look at another VERY critical piece of scripture.

2 Timothy 2:23" But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.2 Timothy 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,2 Timothy 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;2 Timothy 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will."

This portion of scripture is dealing with people who are caught up in OPPOSING God's truth. They are in need of a 'change of MIND'...why? The verse tells us why? "In order to ESCAPE the snare of the devil, who SCRIPTURE tells us right here "have been taken captive to do his will."

NOTE CAREFULLY HERE; This is speaking of BELIEVERS that are taken captive to do the devils will...PRISONERS of WAR, so to speak, and ALL as a result of "faulty thinking" and an unwillingness to change their MINDS!

It is NOT difficult to be astonished when we realize that believers not only "CAN BE" , but "ARE taken captive by the devil to do his will." How do you suppose this happens? What ways are WE responsible for allowing the enemy to have a foothold in our lives when it comes to what we THINK?

Most importantly, what SOLUTION is found in God's Word to US, The Body of Christ, TODAY?
