Christ as the Head of the Body....um...where did Peter teach this ?????

Christ as the HEAD of the Body was taught ONLY by Paul.

Thus, Peter cannot be said to have preached the same gospel. He knew Christ as the Shepherd, the MESSIAH, the King.

Peter was NOT familiar with Christ as the HEAD of a BODY as this was a MYSTERY truth revealed FIRST to Paul.

Discussion, anyone???

If you are NOT familiar with "the preaching of Jesus Christ ACCORDING TO THE REVELATiON Of the MYSTERY...." Romans 16:25 then are you in for a treat!

Peter and the 12 taught a gospel that was DIFFERENT from that which we are told to believe today. Did you know that? They were ministers to the CIRCUMCISION, which means that their words were specifically directed to the Nation Israel.

We gentiles were not included in that program. Our position at that time is stated for us here in Eph. 2:12...Lets look at it:


Ephesians 2:12 That AT THAT TIME ye (gentiles) were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Peters gospel was TRUE, but only for the Jews. Peter NEVER went to a gentile but the ONE time to Cornelius to prepare the way for Pauls gospel...after that , he limited himself again to NONE but the jew ONLY.

Paul had the information of Gods changed program to give to we who are the present Body of Christ. The words given him by Christ RISEN are still in effect today.
