Hi, I'm Star.

I found this sight through Oasis' posting on another board. I always enjoyed what he had to say and thought this might be a worthwhile discussion board to join. Not sure that I will have a lot of time to spend here, but there are some interesting POVs here, and I like to learn what other Christians believe and do.

Like Oasis, I too once belonged to the Church of Christ. I am now a Methodist. But did attend a SBC congregation for a few years.

Nice to meet you : )

Nice to meet you, Star. Any friend of Oasis is a friend of mine! We hope you enjoy perusing our site, and learning about Gods Word Gods Way. As you probably have figured out, not all christians believe the same things. That should concern us all, as God calls us to "ONE Lord , ONE faith and ONE baptism," as well as telling us to "maintain the Unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

Since God has revealed His plan and purpose to us and has told us that thru STUDY of His Word, rightly divided (making the distinctions that HE makes with regard to instructions given to the Nation Israel and differing instructions to we who are His body,) what we have to offer goes a LONG way in explaining the reasons WHY christians seem contradictory in WHAT they believe.

If you have any questions about anything you read, please feel free to ask , so that we might show you from the scriptures WHY we believe as we do. Then, of course, the "metanoia moment" is up to YOU. We trust you will find the exciting truth about "the preaching of Jesus Christ ACCORDING TO THE REVELATION OF THE MYSTERY..." as you study the resource material available here.

Any seeker of truth will find a home here, and we welcome you.

Howdy Star,

Good to see you. Smiley
Feel free to keep us busy.  There are oodles and gobs(my Mom says that)of threads on about every Scriptural issue you could imagine.  Please take advantage and enjoy the studies provided and/or jump in with your two cents.  We are all here simply to do as the Bereans,
Acts 17:11
"...they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scripture's every day to see if what Paul said was true."

Have a great day!
