For all who have been praying, I did get a chance to share the gospel several times with my Mother, and was present when she took her last breath. I will return home to Tennessee on Saturday after deciding to spend a few more days with family. Thank you so much for your support.

As a post script for all who were praying...as far as I know, my Mom died unsaved. When I finished telling her the gospel on the day she was semi responsive, she made a very clear sound of NUH, uh, after I was finished. I shared with her again on the day she died but she was totally unresponsive at that time.

If you have any unsaved family members, do NOT be afraid to tell them the gospel of their salvation. My mom was so mad at me for being a believer that she and I were estranged for over twenty five yrs and only just reconciled (her idea) within the last four years of her life. Do NOT let anything stop you from sharing the truth with those that you love. I have the peace of God that passes all understanding BECAUSE I did everything I knew how to make sure my Mom understood what was at stake. It cost me my relationship with her, ultimately, but she did forgive me at the end and told me she never was really mad at me (ya coulda fooled ME, but I didnt say anything....wink) Pride makes people do irreversible things that affect everyones life, doesnt it?Huh   Make sure YOUR pride doesnt keep YOU from enjoying all that God has provided in Christ....and don't be surprised if even your own family members turn from you because of your stand for truth.
