The churches always seem to seek “Common Ground” with other churches in an effort to establish peace.  It always bothered me that Christian leaders like Billy Graham could easily pray with Pope John, then turn and pray with rabbis and Hindus.  Few people under the banner of “Christianity” are willing to take a stand for the truth of Christ’s finished work as the only means of salvation today.  Pointing out theological differences between the bible and religious practices is considered to be uncompromisingly evil.

Top Christian and Muslim leaders have convened at Yale University for a historic conference that is expected to promote understanding and peace between Christianity and Islam on an unprecedented level.

Christianity has become so compromised that when people ask me if I’m a Christian, I tend to hesitate and just respond that I am a member of the Body of Christ.

Hi honey....Isn't it amazing the crazy things that people with absolutely NO understanding of the meaning of the Cross come up wtih? Its that age old mantra of "can't we all just get along?" LOL LOL

The Cross is an offense, folks. There IS only ONE way that God has provided for ALL to be saved. To even suggest that we have common ground with Islam is ludicrous.

Did you catch the look on the face of the guy on the left....Huh? LOL LOL

That would be MY expression to common ground with Islam, should it ever be presented to me personally. Wink

Is it any wonder that God tells us not to be snookered by the worlds way of thinking?

Amen, Johnny!
I think I'll adopt that response for myself.
It's kinda like now instead of telling people I'm a Republican, I tell them I"m a conservative. Wink

Yep, Oasis. We live in times when our terminology is extremely important. Since we don't want to be thrown in the same bucket with all the dead fish, I think its critical to make it clear that we are alive and well, thank you.....LOL
