Thanks Darryl,
Oh yeah, he's got my dad by the tail!  I've told him that his ministry is a cult. . .read the same thing you did.  But he continues to watch him.  He likes "that man" (lol) because the guy likes to talk about other ministries himself and puts them down.   He is always on the defense too.  That tells me something is fishy!! P-U!!

My dad likes to fill me in on that.  I told him that I'm not interested in hearing others bash other ministries. . .been there, done that!  Embarrassed
I'm interested in studing and learning the truth!  That's what I told him and if my dad wants to join me, he knows where I am!  Wink

Your sis in Christ!

I got a little curious and went to a website called Christian International.  This church has sprouted tons of churches based on this main corporate one.  There was one local church here that I was a part of. . .years ago.   Embarrassed

So I go and read what this Bishop Hamon had to say.  Every year he declares he has a word from the Lord and every "word" had a jingle of a title.  When I read this "word" I realized that he calls the people "Kingdom Saints."  He goes on to say that God is reforming the church and how the saints of the most High God will possess the Kingdom.

Before I came to right division, I thought that that CI was in touch with what God was doing and only they knew it all.  Now as I read what this Bishop Hamon is saying, it sounds so foreign to me.  It's like how did I ever believe this stuff.  Its truly incredible what they are saying on there and how they believe that God is telling this church what to do and what He is going to do. Like they have the inside track on things and everyone else is phffft!

I see how this church is being so decieved and how long this has been going on.   I almost felt like sending them an email to ask them how they came to the point where they believe what they have been teaching and preaching.    All they want to do is defeat the devil and his schemes, that's all they ever talk about.

It's sad to see so many people sucked into this too!  Do you know that his website show churches all over the US and in several different countries!!  And these churches are huge!

It's just amazing to me that how "the angel of light" had made his home and how these people have accepted him and welcomed him and the people don't see it!  So sad!! Sad

Hey there girl....I read your post with a smile on my face as I, too, have gone over material I used to teach and I can't help but wince.

I could also relate to what you said about it being so amazing that these "churches" are so HUGE...but we have to remember that human nature finds comfort in NUMBERS...and we often feel SAFE if there are alot of people who think as we do. These church members have a certain bond that allows them to have a fellowship of sorts as well as social interaction with one another....most of them are good friends too. To step back from what their denominational party line teaches would be , to them, a great loss. They would lose friends, they would lose the respect of their associates and fellow church goers and they would obvioiusly lose out on being invited to attend social functions as well. Don't let anyone tell ya that there isn't a cost involved in sharing the REAL message. When people think about what it will cost them, they simply are not willing to pay the price.

Sad? Oh yes...terribly so. Think of all that they are missing just to remain part of the pack and to remain acceptable to their peers? Its almost like High School again, ya know???

We have an enemy who has had thousands of years to perfect his counterfeit plan...and lets face it, he is doing a fine job with it.

It is a SPIRITUAL battle we are involved in. But remember...we have read the end of the book and we know who wins. WINK WINK

We do know who wins!!!

I keep thinking that if I ever run into some of the people I know who went to that same church that I did, how I would tell them what I have learned, I know that they will think I'm crazy and possibly even throw me to the curb, lol.  In fact, I expect that, lol.

I just love knowing the truth.  After that teaching that TC taught on Tuesday, boy, did that have an impact on John and I!  It was powerful!!! I never saw what he taught in that way.  I may sound naive, but I got alot from that.  Smiley
Tell TC that!!!
Now he is teaching the truth!  God is showing him the truth to us the Body!!! Wink

Have a great evening Christine!!
Love ya Lots!! <<HUGS>>

You know something, Christine? In answer to your first post on this subject, and considering that Paul warned against listening to what is false, it brings to mind that when US Treasury agents are trained, they do not spend mega amounts of time looking at false bills, but rather spend MEGA amounts of time studying THE REAL THING, so that when they see something false, they will KNOW IT UPON SIGHT, where in our case, we will know false teaching upon hearing it!
