Oh my gosh!  My sister just showed me that amazon.com has religious forums!  The one link she sent me has a post from some lady saying how the Catholic church is the only true Israel.

It's crazy!!

Your answers were GREAT. I never cease to be amazed at the ignorance of the scriptures when discussing the basics of salvation with the general public. Satan has done ONE bang up job of confusing the issues, injecting downright lies and twisting scripture to suit every denomination out there.

There IS a lost world out there....and they show NO interest at all in the things of God. Religion has taken the place of truth and people are PROUD of it.

Makes one see the wisdom of God in giving us His WORD and then telling us how to study it, doesn't it?

I totally agree!  Matthew Broderick (is that the actor, lol)  keeps repeating the same thing it seems over and over again.  He can't get that same reply out of his head! LOL!!

It's one thing to say, "oh really, I never saw that before, I think I'll check that out!"  But to be so hard hearted to not even read the word for themselves is totally different!  Shaking my head too!!

Christine, as I was looking a the discussion titles, I just knew which ones were yours!!!

All I can say is, those poor lost people!!  I pray that they will want to know the truth because they are in such bondage, and with all the attacking they're doing, it's so sad!!

I'm praying that we are planting the seeds for them and that one day, they'll want to seek the truth.

I understand completely. I took myself off the tracking posts list....No one there is really interested in truth, but they are sure religious.

Look at the bright side. Darryl came to right division thru our posting there....see how God works? We just share the information and God does the rest.  Those who are satisfied with mere "religion" will cling to it...those who are searching for truth WILL see.

Be encouraged, and be proud of yourself for knowing when to leave. Ya done GOOOOOOD, girl.

Do NOT let the naysayers goad you into responding. We are there for those with honest questions and who WANT to learn. Remember too, that when they cannot address the MESSAGE, they will attack the MESSENGER. Let it go over your head and deal with the FACTS.

Whether or not they like us , or call us names, is simply not an issue.

Its a good spiritual exercise as we are told to be ready to answer when people ask.....we ARE ready, thanks to Gods Word and rightly dividing it. Aint that GREAT?

Boy, God sure put a spark in you!! LOL  You are one tough cookie in not letting "those" get to you.  Sometimes just reading "their" remarks gives me a headache.

Yes. Christine is good at it! Her calm and clear way of responding is what drew me here. (I am STILL going: Wow! It was right there all along!) It is really, really sad over there. There is everything from "gay Christians" to "reincarnated Christians" over there. I spent more time praying for them, than talking to them! I stumbled on the threads there, just by chance, in looking for movies and books about the Bible. And the atheists there, make the ones on Yahoo Answers look like choir boys! My gosh! I really, really feel for those folks! And the saddest thing of all, is that they do not want to know any better! I have an altar on my upstairs deck, and I will just try to remember to pray for folks like that, when I talk to the Father.
