Welcome to Grace Teacher Ministries!
Do you rightly divide the word of truth, found in the Holy Scriptures? Do you even know what that means? It is not really that complicated.........
Basically, there are two programs of God:

One, the first, is the prophecy program, which involves the Jews of Israel only. This program has its roots in the OT, in the Law, the Prophets, and the Writings. In these are found prophecies and promises which were given to Abraham, and his descendants, the children of Israel (Abraham's grandson Jacob, whom God re-named Israel), including King David. These prophecies foretold of a coming Messiah, who would establish a kingdom (of heaven) which would have no end. Later on, the 4 Gospels tells us of the fulfilling of the prophesied coming of the Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ. He came to establish the prophesied Kingdom, and preached the Gospel of the Kingdom, so named for the prophecy which was given in the Holy Scriptures. He offered the Kingdom to Israel, caling them to repent, and they rejected Him in this, His earthly ministry to the Jews only. This is known as the Gospel of the Kingdom, under the dispensation of the Law.

As you know, Israel rejected Christ, and put Him to death on the cross. He arose, and walked among His disciples for 40 days, before ascending into heaven. His Jewish followers tried to continue His teachings, including the following of the law, and bring other Jews to Christ. As you may know, they were severely persecuted by the Jewish religious leaders, including Saul of Tarsus, a pharisee, who hunted down followers of the Lord Jesus, and had them either killed, or imprisoned. One of those that were killed was Stephen, a follower of Christ's earthly ministry, which was filled with the Holy Ghost, according to the fulfilling of another prophecy found in Joel 2:28,29.

Stephen, being filled with the Holy Ghost, delivered an indictment against the Jewish religious leaders for murdering their Messiah. This was the risen Christ trying to get these Jewish leaders to repent, and believe that the Lord Jesus was indeed Messiah, and the Son of the living God. They had Stephen stoned to death, of course, thereby rejecting the risen Christ, and resulting in God casting Israel and their prophecy program aside "for a time" (Acts 28:28).

As Saul of Tarsus was headed for Damascus, with orders to bring back any followers of the Lord Jesus to Jerusalem to face the high priest, and the Jewish council, he was struck blind by the risen Lord Jesus, and became the first man to be saved under God's new un-prophesied dispensation of grace. He was told by Ananias, a believer, and leader of Christ's church in Damascus, that he must suffer much for the sake of the Lord Jesus' name.

Saul became Paul, a man chosen to be the apostle to the Gentiles,  and to give a new gospel to both Jews and Gentiles, under the dispensation of the grace of God. This new gospel is known as both the Gospel of the Grace of God, so named for the dispensation of grace, and also as the Gospel of the Uncircumcision. THIS is the gospel of YOUR salvation today! This gospel is found only in the epistles of Paul, from Romans through Philemon.

Rightly dividing the word of truth is simply knowing which gospel, and therefore, which group of followers any given scripture is being addressed to. If it is an epistle of the apostle Paul, it is addressed to YOU, today! Otherwise, it is addressed to the Jews of the nation Israel. Are YOU rightly dividing the word of truth, and following the risen Christ?

I find it encouraging that you took off with right division and have really proven yourself to be a very apt student of the Word. I would like to ask you to be my prayer partner to pray regularly for my growth and continued commitment to this message...and I will pray the same for you.

Yes, the cat is now out of the bag.... my prayer life is very slack Cry

BUT! My committment to the word of truth, rightly divided, is VERY strong!! Cheesy

.....and so-o-o-o-o... I will be your prayer partner, and pray for your growth and continued committment, and you pray that I pray! Roll Eyes (did that make sense  Huh)
