Where is the REAL battle ??

If we are truly Christian then our battle is not against human flesh and blood, but against powerful spiritual creatures that promulgate ideas and beliefs that sets itself up against the knowledge of God.

Think about it. Can we really call ourselves good "christians" when our beliefs are at odds with the teachings of the ONE whose name we bear???

Yet even among so called "Christians", as well as secular society at large, we find beliefs that are in CLEAR CONFLICT with sound and correctly divided biblical teaching.

A good example is the failure to understand that the bible is NOT simply a history book, or a book on morality, but its main purpose is to reveal God's plan for redeeming His creation...both in heaven and on the earth.

The Bible teaches that God HAS an enemy! This enemy knows he is headed for defeat; therefore his aim is to take as many people with him as possible.

The devil hates the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (found ONLY in Pauls epistles with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ being its focal point and criteria FOR salvation) and he will do anything to attack the PRESENT gospel of our salvation...even create "RELIGION."

Satans main method of operation today is to keep people blinded to the mystery truths with which we have been entrusted and to keep folks focused on a program God had with the Jewish Nation as part of the package today.

However, there can ONLY be one truth, and ONE program that is currently in operation. It is found in the epistles of Paul, whom God says IS our apostle in this present age of GRACE. He alone has the words of the RISEN Christ for we the Body of Christ today.

Yep, and the devil uses even professing Christians who promote something other than the gospel of Paul...say Acts 2 believers who cause one to beat one's head against the wall when trying to show them they have one foot in the law and one foot in Grace?

How can we defeat the enemy?
Speak Paul's gospel, the death for all our sins, burial, and resurrection of Christ Jesus, speak the truth in love,
and pray?

We must rightly divide the Word to expose Satan´s work of "spiritual wickedness" in high places according to Eph. 6:12.  Satan seeks to discredit and bring dishonor upon believers and God´s use of them in order to save face in the eyes of his cohorts.  This reproach of believers allows him to repair the damage to his pride and to his original claims about himself to be "like the most high" (Is. 14:12-14).  The devil working "spiritual wickedness" is his counteracting response to the "spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ" (Eph.1:3) that we as believers are to live in to bring glory to God. 

When believers fail to know, understand, appreciate and daily live in these "spiritual blessings", Satan gets the opportunity to glory in himself.  Satan seeks to dishonor and discredit us in view of the fact that God has honored and credited us "in Christ".  So the fact that Satan´s aim is one of producing dishonor and discredit to counter the honor and credit we have "in Christ", provides the key to understanding who is being glorified by a believer´s life.  As believers, we need to daily put on the armor of God explained only by the Apostle Paul in order to be equipped to combat the wiles of the devil. (Eph. 6:10-18). 

The battle that rages today is what body of wisdom/truth/doctrine is going to operate in God´s people--the hidden wisdom of God contained in the mystery of Christ understood by rightly dividing the scriptures or the counter opposing wisdom of Satan.  Whichever wisdom operates in God´s people brings glory to the author of such wisdom, whether God or Satan. 

Satan´s main attack today is using his ministers to advance false doctrine and religious superstitions in Christianity (2Cor. 11:14-15, Eph.4:17-18, Col. 2:4-8).  He seeks to perpetrate the lie--another Jesus, another spirit, and gospel (2Cor. 4:3-4, Gal. 1:8-9, 1Tim. 4:1). 
Because Satan knows they mystery, he is behind mixing the doctrines of law and grace and prophecy and mystery to create mass confusion and/or ignorance among believers and keeping lost people from getting saved. 
Keeping people confused and ignorant in religion allows Satan to get the glory as well because people never realize all they are and have "in Christ".

That's the hardest one for me to deal with...in reference to keeping my cool when sharing Paul's gospel with other professing Christians on other boards.

Boy, isn't that the truth!?  I'm seeing more and more resistance to the Mystery and it's becoming more visceral ias time goes on.
